About AnswerFix

AnswerFix is an independent software product. It was built by people who have spent years building and optimising websites for local businesses, and who needed a fast, honest way to check whether an AI engine such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini actually recommends a business, before and after its site is changed. We built the tool for that job and then opened it to anyone.

The 13 website checks behind every AnswerFix report are not a generic best-practices list pulled from a blog post. They come from real incidents on real local business sites: schema that was missing or malformed, canonical tags pointed at the wrong page, robots.txt rules that accidentally blocked an AI crawler, FAQ content that existed on the page but was never in a shape an engine could cite. Each check exists because it fixed, or would have prevented, an actual visibility problem.

The scoring, the fix queue and the plain-language explanations all follow one rule: show the real evidence, and never invent a fact to make a report look more finished than it is. AnswerFix sells software only. There are no sales calls, no agency retainers and no services to be upsold into.
