The honest read: five tracked AI prompts on a $129 plan is a token allowance. If you seriously want to track AI prompts on Ahrefs, you are adding a custom prompt package, and the realistic floor for a functioning setup is roughly $129 plus $50, or $179 a month.

Where it fits a local business, and where it does not

It fits a local business that already pays for Ahrefs for link and keyword work, and wants to add AI prompt tracking as a small line item. In that case $50 a month on top of an existing subscription is reasonable, and 2,500 checks a month is enough to run a real local prompt set daily.

Where it does not fit:

• The price floor for a newcomer. Nobody buys a $129 Ahrefs plan to answer one AI question. If you are not already an Ahrefs customer, this is an expensive door.
